I have spent thousands of dollars on other handguns, but this is by far the best for fraction of the price!!!

I had been looking at the GP K100 for a month or so before picking one up, and I'm glad I did. The DA/SA trigger is amazing - something you might find on a competition pistol but for half the price. The rotating barrel design is innovative and the bore axis is low, leaving little to recoil and muzzle flip. My pistol's magazine catch was a bit sticky at first but with time and cleaning it loosened up. The only issue I had was the reassembly of the pistol. It took me a few good minutes to figure out the process, but here's a hint - allow the barrel to come fully out of battery. Let the barrel slide into the slide as far as it can go, then simply put some muscle behind the slide as you pull it back, and it should fit together nicely. The magazines are a good quality. The backstrap system took me a moment to figure out as well, and the manual didn't say much about the system. After a moment of tinkering I found out you have to simply pull the backstraps directly off of the gun. Usually a flat head screw driver is helpful to get the backstrap started. Aside from these little hiccups, the pistol itself has performed flawlessly after the initial break-in. All in all, a wonderful pistol that I feel deserves more attention from the US market.
